ARTWORKS LANDSCAPE BY DOMINIQUE DESMEULES

In parallel to his production of floral works, the artist quietly began to express himself artistically through scenes of semi-abstract landscapes. This allowed him to regain a very appreciable and liberating freedom of expression in the movement and arrangement of colors. In fact, the drawing is completely ignored in this series and a first stream of acrylic colors diluted on the canvas allows him to discover shapes that will be used to create a harmonious and sometimes unusual ensemble coming out of the imagination. Again, she uses structural mortar and Japanese paper collages to create very textured floral or other effects.
